A very private setting in the unique terrain, sandy soils and woodlands of New Jersey's northern "pine barrens". Several crossing of the Metedeconk's River basin which bisect the layout, help to separate and focus the quiet isolation of each of the holes. Subtle contouring of greens and fairways surrounded by natural roughs is interrupted by the occasional open water, wetlands and a host of sculpted bunkers.
